What Motivated Him to Join the Registered Financial Planner (RFP) Program, and How Did It Influence His Approach to Financial Planning?
When asked about his motivation, Joenil explained:
“I did RFP around 8 years ago. I was working in my first insurance company and as I was pioneering transformation projects, I wanted to really get to the head space of the distributors (agents) that I’m doing my projects for. So RFP helped me on that.”
How Has Becoming an RFP Helped Him in Making Better Investment and Wealth-Building Decisions?
On how RFP shaped his investment and wealth-building perspective, Joenil replied simply but meaningfully:
“Yes.”
What’s the Most Valuable Lesson He Learned from the RFP Program, and How Has He Applied It in His Own Financial Journey?
Reflecting on his experience, Joenil shared:
“I guess I was still young then but as a modest and middle-class person, I found estate planning really engaging. Something that we all have to keep in mind if we have aspirations to be affluent and high rollers in the future, right?”
For Joenil, the RFP program was not just a certification—it was a shift in mindset that underscored the importance of preparing for the future, securing wealth, and ensuring its responsible transfer. This principle continues to guide both his professional and personal approach to financial planning.
